What do all these children have in common?
Each child is a victim of injustice; born with genetic malformations, attacked by flesh eating infections, or afflicted with deadly tumors. They face further injustice because, unlike in other parts of the world, they were born in developing nations that lack resources for basic health facilities and expert medical care. Finally, they suffer social ostracism manifested by mothers, unable to provide necessary medical care, covering their children’s faces in shame.
