In 2008, IFCCD was able to obtain a donation fro the Olympus Corporation. They donated pediatric endoscopic anesthesia equipment to the University in Ibidan, Nigeria, a town outside of Lagos. Tiny children had unnecessary tracheotomy surgery before they received this gift and now they are spared this unnecessary surgery.
